Navigating Wellness and Well Mama UX Research and Design

Pacific Science Center is a science museum located in Seattle, Washington. Per their website “Pacific Science Center ignites curiosity in every child and fuels a passion for discovery, experimentation, and critical thinking in all of us.”

This was the third project of User Experience Design Immersive 31, for General Assembly Seattle, of which I am an alum. PacSci, along with other companies located in the Seattle Center, were mock clients of the UXDI students.

The Cookout Emotional Experience Design

The Cookout is not just a social media app, it’s a community and a culture. The Cookout is a community for members of the African Diaspora who are committed to personal and professional growth and are engaged in combatting, rather than furthering, social ills that affect the Black community. Brand imagery for The Cookout needs to be unapologetically Black. It needs to be fun. It needs to emphasize community, closeness, and vulnerability. It needs to be daring, bold, and innovative, reflective of the community the app attracts.

City of Seattle- Cornerstone Case Study

Seattle is a seaport city on the West Coast of the United States. It is the seat of King County, Washington. Seattle is the largest city in both the state of Washington and the Pacific Northwest region of North America. According to U.S. Census data released in 2019, the Seattle metropolitan area’s population stands at 3.98 million, and ranks as the 15th-largest in the United States.

This was the fifth and final project of my User Experience Design Immersive (Cohort 31), at General Assembly Seattle. The City of Seattle were my first “real” UX clients in the program.
